Working Grants for Flemish-African Teams of Investigative Journalists
Flanders Connects Continents is a project offering working grants for intercontinental teams of investigative journalists consisting of at least one Flemish and one Sub-Sahara African journalist. The project is run by Journalismfund.eu vzw under its Flemish Pascal Decroos Fund grant programme. The money comes from the Departement Internationaal Vlaanderen of the Flemish government.

For who?

Teams of investigative journalists consisting of at least one Sub-Saharan African and one Flemish journalist. Additional international team members are allowed to join.

When?

There will be three application rounds over a period of six months, with application deadlines on 24th December 2015, 1st April 2016 and 1st June 2016.

How much?

There is €120,000 to distribute over the three application rounds, which means approximately €40,000 per round. The money comes from the Flemish government.
